Find the 'Play Queue' icon in the top right (i think) of the iPhone app and go into the queue. Here you can select and remove tracks from the queue and it will clear it on the iPad. Bob's your uncle! A bit of a pain but ultimately useful đ. You can easily view your Spotify queue on a computer or mobile device. To view your Spotify queue, tap the queue icon in your 'Now Playing' bar. You can edit and add songs to your queue at any time. You can clear your Spotify queue in seconds in both the desktop and mobile versions of the app. Your Spotify queue is a list that shows you what songs you've scheduled to play once the current song. However I can't find reset or clear music queue that is currently playing. Ios spotify spotify-app spotify-queue. Asked Dec 15 '14 at 6:49.
If youâre having problems working out how to clear a Spotify play queue then youâve come to the right place. The Spotify play queue (or play cache as some people refer to it) can be frustrating when you find that itâs full of tracks that you never chose or you no longer want to play âŚ. and every time a chosen track ends Spotify jumps straight to all the songs stored in the play queue. We Googled the problem but there seems to be some very mixed advice about how to clear the Spotify play queue; many suggestions seem to revolve around âdeletingâ tracks from the list or jumping to the last one. None of them seemed to work for us so we set about looking for a quick-fix workaround that would clear the cache quickly and easily. Step-by-step instructions are given below and youâll see that thereâs the chance to customise it to your own preference âŚ. which youâll definitely want to do because that âYEAHâ track will drive you mad after a while.
A simple workaround to the problem of how to remove all the songs from a Spotify play queue is to create a special Playlist with a very very very short track in it. All that you need to do is to double-click it at any time and your main cache will be cleared.
PLEASE NOTE that these workaround instructions relate to using Spotify on a PC. Weâve no idea whether this will also work on a tablet, iPad, iPod, etc. Maybe give it a try and let us know.
Hereâs what to do:
(1) with the Spotify program open, choose File then New Playlist.
Spotify Clear Queue Ios
(2) youâll see a new playlist appear in the left-hand sidebar which is waiting for you to give it a name. Type in Clear Queue (or anything you like! ⌠but âClear Queueâ is more helpful), hit Return and you now have an empty Spotify playlist location called âClear Queueâ somewhere in your left-hand sidebar.
(3) next, type âkyuss yeahâ into the search box (without the apostrophes) at the top of the page and hit Return. Spotify will show you a track called âYeahâ by an Artist called âKyussâ. The importance of this track does not relate to the artist or the title âŚ. itâs important because itâs only 4 seconds long!
(4) Right-click the track and choose âAdd toâŚâ then âClear Queueâ. The 4 second long track has now been added to that playlist.
(5) Thatâs it. To clear the Spotify play queue at any time just double-click the âClear Queueâ playlist âŚ. the 4 second track will play âŚ.. âYEAH!â âŚ.. and your playlist cache is clear!
(6) You can of course put whatever song or track you like in the new playlist but by choosing one thatâs very very short means that you wonât have to keep stopping the song every time youâve cleared the Spotify play queue.
